We will start with a morning of designing beautiful Spring flowers with British Floral Designer, Lizzie Watt, followed by a delicious lunch. The afternoon will then be spent painting those same flowers under the guidance and tuition of acclaimed artist, Nancy Joyce. Suitable for beginners to those looking to add a little inspiration to their existing creative skills.

Spring/Easter Table Design
Wednesday 1st April
Create a beautiful spring/Easter table centrepiece arrangement. Learn how to make a beautiful arrangement using natural materials filled with scented spring flowers for that perfect holiday centrepiece. Unleash your own creativity - each design will be as unique as you are!
You will create a design using fully sustainable techniques with seasonal blooms in soft spring colour palette, including tulips, ranunculus, hellebores, narcissi and more!
Suitable for complete beginners and no previous floristry or flower arranging experience is required.
The workshop includes all the flowers, foliage and materials that you will need during the workshop.

Join us for this fabulous full day of creativity!
The morning will be spent with British Floral Designer, Lizzie Watt designing a stunning floral display - alongside understanding of the Principles and Elements of floral design which help take the ordinary to the extraordinary!
We will then break to enjoy a fully prepared lunch before embarking on an afternoon of art.
Nancy Joyce is a much acclaimed artist, hailing from South Carolina and has been featured in the likes of Vanity Fair, The Wall Street Journal, House & Garden magazine and many more, as well as undertaking private and corporate commissions around the world. In the afternoon, Nancy will lead a relaxed and joyful exploration of painting. Using the floral design you created in the morning as inspiration, Nancy will guide you in capturing the beauty and personality of your flowers on canvas. You'll explore loose, whimsical techniques that make painting approachable, playful and rewarding for both beginners and creatives alike.
No previous experience is needed for either the floral design or painting session. Full guidance will be given throughout the day making this retreat perfect for complete beginners or those looking to expand their creativity and find fresh inspiration.
Leave the retreat with both your floral design and your finished painting, two beautiful reminders of a day spent immersed in creativity.
The workshop includes all materials, a delicious lunch and refreshments throughout the day. This workshop is limited to 10 places to ensure full guidance to all participants.

Why not book a private workshop for your friends or family - a great way to celebrate any occasion!
Each class is approx. 2-3 hrs but can be tailored to your requirements, timing and budget. We can decide together what your guests might like to make - seasonal wreaths, floral jewellery, flower crowns, table arrangements etc.
You choose your own venue or come to the studio: 9606 Bailey Road, Cornelius, North Carolina. (next to Restaurant 131 Main)
Workshops will be run by Lizzie Watt - a trained, advanced British Floral Designer.
Maximum of 10 students per workshop (minimum of 5) - ensuring a fun and informative environment. (Host is FREE!)
Costs per head start from $50 up to $120 - depending on what you and your guests would like to make. All flowers and sundries will be included within the agreed price.
Private workshops can be followed with a classic British ‘Afternoon Tea’ (finger sandwiches, mini cakes and Prosecco) for an additional $25 per head.
